Hey everyone!  I haven't written on here in awhile.  I guess I forgot all about it since the first message was written.  Please submit poetry to me.  I need your help to make this a good site for those people who like poetry.  I have some poems.  I'll share one every now and then.  Here is one for starters.  I wrote this poem when my friend Erin Linscott passed away at the age of 17.  Before Erin passed away another friend of mine had passed away so that is why I mention "Sarah".  Here it is:

Erin

You left us all behind to go somewhere new.
All we can think is why did it have to be you?
You left us all behind to go meet our friend, Sarah.
But what we wanted to tell you is how much we do care.
You left us all behind proving you can be all you want to be.
Now we all wish that we could see the way your eyes would see.
You left us all behind as your pain came to an end.
Now it is our hearts that we will have to mend.
You left us all behind knowing you'll always care.
We hope you felt that we, too, were always there.
You left us all behind after you touched our hearts.
And that is why I hope in spirit we'll never part.
You left us all behind to go to a wonderful place.
And I hope someday, again, we will meet face to face.
